TechFlow, July 4 — According to official BitTorrent announcements, three key governance proposals for the BTFS network—BTIP-89/90/91—have entered their final implementation phase.
Among them, BTIP-91 establishes a decentralized governance framework based on smart contracts, BTIP-90 enables on-chain transparent management of file metadata, and BTIP-89 introduces the Storage Provider (SP) program. This upgrade will significantly enhance the network's transparency, reliability, and community self-governance capabilities, marking a critical step toward BTFS becoming a fully decentralized storage infrastructure.
