TechFlow news, on July 4, Riot Platforms, Inc. (Nasdaq: RIOT) released its June operating data. The company mined 450 bitcoins during the month, a 12% decrease from the previous month but a 76% increase year-over-year. During the period, Riot sold 397 bitcoins, generating $41.7 million in net proceeds, with an average selling price of $105,071 per bitcoin.
As of the end of June, the company held 19,273 bitcoins and had deployed hash rate reaching 35.5 EH/s. Riot generated $5.6 million in power-related revenue through participation in ERCOT's "Four Coincident Peaks" (4CP) program and demand response initiatives, an 18% year-over-year increase. CEO Jason Les stated that the company's power strategy has not only significantly enhanced competitiveness but also contributed to grid stability.
