TechFlow, July 3 — According to an official announcement from JupiterDAO, the JupiterDAO Core Working Group (CWG) has announced its formal dissolution and will return all 4.5 million JUP tokens allocated to the group back to the DAO wallet.
The CWG stated that, against the backdrop of the DAO entering a 6-month voting pause and reset phase, they evaluated their scope of responsibilities and concluded that most of their tasks have been largely completed. The group was established approximately 18 months ago with an initial plan to operate for four years, but they believe the DAO has evolved to a stage where the originally envisioned core working group is no longer necessary.
CWG member Morten will join the Jupiter team full-time as an Operations and Quality Control Engineer, while Kemo will return to his own project, Radiants. The working group will collaborate with the team and other working groups over the next two weeks to ensure all outstanding matters are properly addressed.
