TechFlow, July 2 - According to Bloomberg, despite Singapore's crackdown on unlicensed cryptocurrency firms within its borders, crypto exchange Binance still plans to keep hundreds of remote-working employees in Singapore. Sources indicated that the new regulations are expected to have limited impact on Binance's operations in the country.
Earlier, the Monetary Authority of Singapore announced a June 30 deadline for cryptocurrency companies registered in Singapore but providing services overseas, requiring them to cease such business activities.
