TechFlow news, on July 1, ZachXBT posted that despite Circle's constant emphasis on compliance, the USDC stablecoin has effectively become the primary payment infrastructure for North Korean IT workers. He stated that Circle is currently taking no measures whatsoever to detect or freeze these suspicious activities, and said he could point to recent transaction volumes reaching eight figures in USD. ZachXBT believes this serious issue has not received sufficient attention during the current "crime supercycle."
