TechFlow news, June 30: The CEO of Battle for Blockchain announced that Minters Dev, the blockchain game development company, is about to shut down. Its game "Battle for Blockchain" will enter maintenance mode and officially cease operations within the next 30 days.
Founded in 2022, the company successfully launched two fully on-chain games on mainnet and developed multiple products for top cryptocurrency clients. Although "Battle for Blockchain" once attracted over 700 daily active users with a 48% seven-day retention rate, the team faced multiple challenges including funding shortages, technical difficulties, and market competition.
The founder stated that excessive growth of automated activities in the game led to user attrition and token price decline, creating a vicious cycle that ultimately left the team unable to sustain operations.
