TechFlow news, on June 23, Bitget officially connected to Sahyog, a portal platform under India's Internet Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), becoming one of the few global cryptocurrency exchanges to join this system. Sahyog serves as the official collaboration interface between Indian law enforcement agencies and digital service providers. This integration enables Bitget to respond to data requests from Indian law enforcement through legal, compliant, secure, and efficient channels, cooperating in accordance with Section 94 of the Indian Citizens Safety Act and Section 79(3)(b) of the Information Technology Act.
Bitget Chief Legal Officer Hon Ng said: "India is a key market in our global strategy. Connecting to the Sahyog platform is a significant step for Bitget to comply with local regulations and strengthen compliance cooperation. We will continue optimizing our compliance framework to support law enforcement agencies in governance and regulation within the digital asset space."
Against the backdrop of increasingly stringent global regulation, Bitget is actively deepening its compliance presence across major markets. Joining Sahyog not only strengthens coordination with Indian regulators but also demonstrates Bitget's long-term commitment to building a transparent and trustworthy cryptocurrency ecosystem.
