TechFlow news, June 7 — According to TechinAsia, Meta's Chief Technology Officer Andrew "Boz" Bosworth recently stated that 2025 could become a pivotal turning point for the company's AR and VR division, Reality Labs. Despite prolonged losses in Reality Labs, Meta has continued its investment and is now gaining market recognition after emerging from the "trough of disillusionment." The global AR/VR market is projected to grow from $43.58 billion in 2024 to $382.87 billion in 2033, representing a compound annual growth rate of 27.31%.
