TechFlow news, May 30 — According to Barrons, French prosecutors announced today (May 30) that 25 suspects will stand trial for allegedly plotting multiple kidnappings targeting cryptocurrency entrepreneurs. The charges include the attack earlier this month on the pregnant daughter and young grandson of Pierre Noizat, CEO of the French cryptocurrency exchange Paymium, as well as another attempted kidnapping thwarted just this week in Nantes. These incidents have drawn significant attention from the French government, prompting the Interior Minister to convene an emergency meeting with cryptocurrency industry leaders and pledge enhanced security measures to prevent further crimes targeting wealthy cryptocurrency entrepreneurs.
