TechFlow news, May 27 — Gemini's latest "2025 State of Crypto" report shows a significant increase in global cryptocurrency ownership in 2025. The UK saw ownership rise from 18% to 24%, leading the growth; Singapore topped the list at 28%; both the US and France reached 21%.

Meme coins have become a primary entry point for new investors, with 31% of US investors holding meme coins before moving into traditional crypto assets. Spot crypto ETFs remain popular, with ownership rates reaching 47% among Italian investors, 41% in the UK, and 39% in the US.
The survey was conducted between March and April 2025 among 7,205 consumers across the US, UK, France, Italy, Australia, and Singapore.
