TechFlow news, on May 22, to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Bitcoin Pizza Day, Bitget hosted a series of pizza festival events across more than 20 cities on five continents from May 19 to 22, covering cities such as Lisbon, Barcelona, Florence, and Dubai, distributing a total of 5,000 pizzas.
The Pizza Day originated on May 22, 2010, when Laszlo Hanyecz purchased two pizzas with 10,000 bitcoins, marking the first physical transaction in cryptocurrency history.
