TechFlow news, May 17 — According to Bloomberg, Roelof Botha, managing partner at Sequoia Capital, had his personal information stolen during a recent hacking incident targeting Coinbase. The compromised data includes his phone number, home address, and sensitive details linked to his Coinbase account. This is the first time Botha's data breach has been disclosed, highlighting that hackers are targeting top industry figures.
Botha previously worked with Peter Thiel and Elon Musk, joined Sequoia in 2003, invested in YouTube and Instagram, and was promoted to the firm’s top leadership role in 2022.
