TechFlow news, May 8 — According to official announcements, OKX Wallet has become the first to support Ethereum's latest account abstraction standard EIP-7702, offering users a more powerful and flexible on-chain interaction experience. Users can now upgrade their traditional Ethereum EOA (Externally Owned Account) into smart contract accounts, enabling seamless integration with the latest DApps and protocols while maintaining full compatibility with existing Ethereum standards. The upgrade option is now available in OKX Wallet, allowing users to upgrade at their discretion. To ensure asset security, users must operate only through official channels and remain vigilant against phishing links and malicious websites to avoid potential risks.
EIP-7702 is a key Ethereum Improvement Proposal that grants EOA addresses temporary ability to execute smart contract code, blurring the line between traditional accounts and smart contract accounts, marking a significant breakthrough for account abstraction.
