TechFlow news, May 7 — According to PeckShieldAlert data, 18 major cryptocurrency hacking incidents occurred in April 2025, resulting in total losses of $357.11 million. Unauthorized BTC transfers caused the most severe losses, amounting to $330.7 million. Notably, zkSync, KiloEx, and Term_Labs successfully recovered approximately $14.4 million in stolen funds. Other significant incidents include the KiloEx_perp vulnerability ($7.5 million, recovered), Loopscale vulnerability ($5.8 million), zkSync vulnerability ($5.4 million, restored), and the MorphoLabs front-end attack ($2.6 million).
