TechFlow, May 5 — According to an official announcement from Chromia, the project has launched a testnet application called Social Agents, enabling users to create interactive personas for their NFTs. By adding a metadata layer on Chromia, users can customize personalities, stories, and behavioral traits for NFTs originating from EVM-compatible chains such as Ethereum, without requiring cross-chain transfers of assets.
The testnet has already imported three well-known NFT collections: Bored Ape Yacht Club, CryptoPunks, and Pudgy Penguins. During the testing phase, users can "adopt" NFTs not yet claimed by their original owners and customize them. Once the original owner connects their wallet to the application, control is automatically transferred back to them.
