TechFlow, April 30 — According to Cointelegraph, scammers are sending physical letters to Ledger hardware wallet users, impersonating Ledger and asking users to provide their private recovery phrases in an attempt to gain control of their wallets. These letters use Ledger's logo, company address, and reference numbers to appear legitimate, claiming that users must immediately perform a "critical security update."
Ledger has confirmed this as a scam and reminded users that it will never ask for recovery phrases through any channel.
