TechFlow news, April 27 — Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin recently stated on social media that the account abstraction process on Ethereum is currently only halfway complete. Buterin emphasized that the ultimate goal is to make non-ECDSA (Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm) accounts the mainstream account type within the Ethereum ecosystem. These accounts will support advanced features such as multi-signature, key rotation, quantum resistance, and privacy protocols. He also noted that the Ethereum community has recently made significant progress in simplifying the ERC-7701 standard, which will help advance the goal of account abstraction.
