TechFlow, April 26 — On April 25, SEC Commissioner Mark T. Uyeda called for expanding cryptocurrency asset custody solutions during a roundtable meeting of the Cryptocurrency Working Group. He suggested allowing state-chartered trust companies to serve as qualified custodians and proposed considering modifications to the "special purpose broker-dealer" regime to promote market competition.
