TechFlow, April 15 — According to Bitwise statistics, during the first quarter of 2025, publicly traded companies collectively purchased 95,431 bitcoins, bringing the total amount of bitcoin held by public firms to 688,000 BTC, equivalent to 3.28% of bitcoin's maximum supply (21 million). Data shows that currently 79 publicly listed companies hold bitcoin, representing a 17.91% increase from the previous quarter, with 12 new companies entering bitcoin purchases this quarter.
