TechFlow news, April 10 — According to The Block, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approved applications for options trading on spot Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) from multiple institutions.
On Wednesday, the SEC approved, via its "accelerated review" process, the Nasdaq ISE's application for options trading on the iShares Ethereum Trust. Simultaneously, the SEC also approved proposals from NYSE American for options trading on the Bitwise Ethereum ETF, Grayscale Ethereum Trust, and Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust.
Bloomberg Intelligence ETF analyst James Seyffart stated that the final deadline for approval of staking-related features will be at the end of October this year.
