TechFlow, April 3 — According to on-chain analyst Spot On Chain (@spotonchain), the North Korean hacking group Lazarus Group sold 40.78 WBTC within the past 12 hours, amounting to approximately $3.51 million.
The group originally purchased these WBTC in February 2023 at a price of around $24,521 each, spending a total of 999,900 USDT. This sale was executed at approximately $86,170 per WBTC, yielding 1,857 Ether (ETH), generating a profit of about $2.51 million and achieving a return of 251%. After the transaction, the ETH were distributed across three different wallet addresses.
