Zhao said he avoids flashy models and emphasized that ideas themselves are worthless—execution is key. He further outlined three core investment principles: focus on fundamentals such as product, user growth, and revenue/profit; invest for the long term and enter early; back founder teams driven by a mission.
According to Zhao, great companies stem from mission-driven mindsets rather than purely profit-seeking motives.
