TechFlow, April 2 — According to The Block, decentralized stablecoin protocol Usual has partnered with blockchain security firm Sherlock to launch a bug bounty program offering up to $16 million for critical vulnerabilities discovered in its codebase. This bounty surpasses previous rewards set by Uniswap ($15.5 million), LayerZero Labs ($15 million), and Wormhole ($10 million).
Usual's codebase has undergone 20 audits, including a recent Sherlock audit competition, without uncovering any medium or higher severity vulnerabilities. Only vulnerabilities classified as critical are eligible for the top reward. Usual currently manages over $880 million in total value locked (TVL).
Sherlock CEO Jack Sanford said the collaboration aims to promote integrity in DeFi development and strengthen trust across the ecosystem.
