TechFlow, April 2 — According to an official announcement from cryptocurrency trading platform Backpack, multiple Sybil attacks were detected during the generation of this week's points distribution data. The platform stated it will strictly identify Sybil accounts and reallocate the affected points to genuine users.
The announcement emphasized that the platform will focus on and support users who genuinely contribute to its growth, taking all necessary measures to protect community interests. It also noted that users conducting normal manual trades or using application programming interface (API) operations have nothing to worry about.
Backpack urges users not to create multiple accounts to participate in activities, as doing so may result in having their points reallocated.
