TechFlow news, April 2 — According to an official announcement, in March 2025, SOON announced that its validator nodes have begun testing Firedancer, a new independent Solana client developed by Jump Crypto, and officially connected to and launched on the development network (devnet), achieving a real-world TPS of 80,000.
Previously, SOON nodes had already achieved 30,000 TPS and a 50-millisecond block time on the mainnet by decoupling the architecture of the Solana client Agave, making it the blockchain with the lowest latency and highest real-time performance among currently live networks.
Firedancer, written in C++, supports up to one million TPS and significantly enhances network throughput and stability through a modular, parallel architecture. SOON’s integration with Firedancer not only achieves compatibility and deployment ahead of the Solana mainnet but also extracts a higher-performance SVM from Firedancer, driving breakthroughs in SVM performance and enabling large-scale blockchain applications.
