TechFlow news, March 27 — According to TechCrunch, Abound, a remittance app spun off from Times Internet, has raised $14 million. The round was led by NEAR Foundation, with participation from Circle Ventures, Times Internet, and other institutions.
Founded in 2023, Abound focuses on providing cross-border remittance services for Indian-Americans. The company plans to use the new funding to expand its service offerings, broaden its product portfolio, and enhance its technical infrastructure. In addition to remittances, Abound intends to explore high-yield savings, investment opportunities in Indian markets, and cross-border credit solutions.
