TechFlow reports, on March 25, on-chain investigator ZachXBT posted on social media accusing the Crypto.com team of recently reissuing 70 billion CRO tokens—70% of the total supply—that were previously pledged to be "permanently burned" in 2021.
ZachXBT wrote in his tweet: "CRO is essentially a scam. Your team reissued 70 billion CRO—one week ago—that you previously claimed was 'permanently burned,' directly against community wishes and now controls the majority of the circulating supply."
In addition, ZachXBT questioned Truth's choice: "I don't understand why Truth still chose to partner with Crypto.com instead of other platforms like Coinbase, Kraken, or Gemini under these circumstances."
