TechFlow news, March 17 — According to Cointelegraph, four suspects have been charged for a home invasion robbery targeting online streamer Amouranth (real name Kaitlyn Siragusa). The suspects include two minors aged 16–17 who are accused of armed burglary and demanding the streamer hand over her cryptocurrency private keys.
The incident occurred on the evening of March 2, when multiple armed individuals broke into Siragusa’s home, assaulted her, and used firearms to threaten her into surrendering her cryptocurrency. Fortunately, Siragusa’s husband became aware of the situation via phone and surveillance cameras. While the intruders searched for cold wallet devices, Siragusa managed to escape and reunite with her husband, who then fired at the attackers, causing them to flee the scene.
Siragusa had previously disclosed online that she holds approximately 211 bitcoins, worth over $20 million, which may have made her a target for the robbery.
