TechFlow news, on March 16, Kaito AI founder Yu Hu posted on X stating: "Nothing related to KAITO has been compromised.
My X account and the Kaito account were both breached—hackers subsequently posted fake tweets. As soon as I realized this, I checked both accounts, found that I was still logged in, promptly removed the tweets, and changed the passwords.
We have advanced security measures in place on both accounts, including hardware 2FA, so at this stage it appears we may have experienced an attack similar to those recently seen affecting other projects like Jupiter.
We are currently speaking with experts familiar with such attacks to understand how this occurred. We also welcome assistance from any professionals."
