TechFlow news, March 12 — Former U.S. President Donald Trump posted on social platform X stating: "I bought Tesla, first because it's an exceptionally good product—so good that words can't do it justice; second, because Musk has poured his energy and life into this endeavor, and I believe he has been treated very unfairly."
In the video, Trump praised Musk as a "great patriot" and said Tesla is the only automaker founded in the past 30 years to become "super successful." He also mentioned that Musk is capable of uncovering "billions of dollars in fraud and waste," which he believes will make America stronger. Trump revealed that due to security reasons, he hasn't been allowed to drive for a long time, but plans to keep this Tesla at the White House for staff use.
Musk responded: "As a result of President Trump's excellent policies and as a show of confidence in America, Tesla will double its vehicle production in the United States over the next two years."
Earlier reports indicated that President Trump purchased a Model S to support Tesla and American manufacturing.
