TechFlow reports, on March 4, CoinMarketCap data shows the Altcoin Season Index is currently at 15, down 1 point from yesterday. This index indicates that within the past 90 days, only 15 out of the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market cap have outperformed Bitcoin in terms of gains.
The CMC Altcoin Season Index is a real-time indicator used to determine whether the current cryptocurrency market is entering an altcoin-dominated season. The index is based on the performance of the top 100 altcoins relative to Bitcoin over the past 90 days.
