TechFlow news — On February 28, according to CoinDesk, MetaMask has released a new roadmap focused on enhancing user experience. The updated roadmap includes adding smart contract capabilities to the current wallet and introducing the ERC-5792 batch transaction feature, which allows users to combine multiple steps (such as "approve + swap") into a single click, saving time and gas fees.
In addition, the MetaMask team announced that its debit card will launch in select U.S. states in mid-March. The card has already been operational in the UK and EU markets for several months, linking directly to users' MetaMask wallets and enabling direct spending with cryptocurrency. Notably, MetaMask will add support for Bitcoin and Solana, allowing users to manage multiple crypto assets within a single wallet.
