TechFlow news, on February 26, according to Jinshi News citing Reuters/Ipsos, a poll released on Tuesday showed that U.S. President Trump's approval rating remained stable over the past week, with 44% of respondents approving of his performance during his first month in office. The survey found that despite Trump firing tens of thousands of federal workers and a reversal in the U.S. stance on the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Americans' views of him have largely remained unchanged.
The survey indicated that 50% disapproved of his job performance, slightly down from 51% the previous week, within a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points. To date, public support for Trump's performance remains higher than during most of his first term from 2017 to 2021. An online poll conducted Friday through Sunday among 1,029 American adults also showed that 50% of respondents supported Trump's approach on immigration, up from 47% the previous week, while 42% said they opposed his immigration policies.
