TechFlow News, February 21 — In response to recent discussions regarding product strategy differences between Binance and OKX, Binance founder Zhao Changpeng (CZ) stated that Binance (CEX) has long restricted employees from trading cryptocurrencies in order to protect user interests. However, he acknowledged this policy may make it harder for product managers to fully understand user needs. CZ noted such decisions would be left to management, and added that he would personally start experiencing on-chain products: "On-chain, you really should experience the products yourself. I'll go try out a few meme coins shortly."
Previously, crypto KOL @0x0xFeng pointed out that OKX employees are actively participating in various meme, NFT, and alpha communities, enabling them to gather direct user feedback and rapidly improve their products. In contrast, Binance employees show significantly lower engagement within these communities.
