TechFlow reported on February 20, according to Decrypt, that the Hashdex Nasdaq XRP Index Fund, launched by crypto asset management firm Hashdex, has received approval from Brazil's financial investment regulatory authority, making it the world's first spot XRP ETF. The fund is currently in pre-operational phase and will soon be listed for trading on Brazil's B3 exchange, though the exact listing date has not yet been announced.
The report noted that recently, multiple institutions including Bitwise Asset Management, 21Shares, CoinShares, and Grayscale have filed applications for spot XRP funds. Analysts at JPMorgan predict such funds could attract between $3 billion and $6 billion in investments.
