TechFlow reports, on February 19, data released by Ki Young Ju, founder and CEO of CryptoQuant, showed the current cost basis for various Bitcoin holder groups as follows:
ETF and custodial wallets: $89,000,
Binance traders: $59,000,
Mining companies: $57,000,
Early large whales: $25,000.
When Bitcoin's price falls below mining companies' cost basis—as occurred in May 2022, March 2020, and November 2018—it typically signals the onset of a bear market.
