TechFlow News, February 18 — According to DB News, Argentine President Javier Milei responded during a television interview regarding the LIBRA incident. Javier Milei stated that he merely shared information in good faith and did not promote it. He denied earlier claims that 44,000 people were affected, saying the actual number does not exceed 5,000, among whom only four or five Argentinian investors incurred losses, while the majority of affected investors were from China and the United States.
Javier Milei emphasized that all participants were professional volatility traders with a deep understanding of financial instruments, fully aware of the associated risks and having joined voluntarily. He added that this experience taught him the importance of improving his vetting process and being more cautious when sharing information.
