TechFlow reported on February 17 that Jeff Park, Head of Alpha Strategies at Bitwise, pointed out that while the world faces multiple challenges such as tariffs, debt ceiling, and deglobalization, Bitcoin's implied volatility (IV) percentile has reached its lowest level of the year, creating a "generational" investment opportunity.
According to Deribit data, the Bitcoin Volatility Index is currently at 50.90, significantly lower than the year-to-date high of 71.28, with the IV percentile standing at only 12.3%. Park believes this market anomaly stands in stark contrast to the extreme uncertainty in the current global economy.
