TechFlow news — On February 14, according to an official announcement from Coinbase, the cryptocurrency exchange has formed a global partnership with the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One team, becoming its exclusive crypto partner.
Under the agreement, the Coinbase brand logo will appear on the halo and rear wing endplates of the AMR25 race car, as well as on the racing suits of drivers Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll.
Notably, Coinbase will fully fund this partnership using the U.S. dollar-pegged stablecoin USDC and will add the Aston Martin Aramco team to its Coinbase Prime client roster. This move aims to demonstrate the potential of stablecoins in the payments space.
