TechFlow news, on February 14, according to Jinshi News, the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) of Hong Kong held its first Virtual Assets Advisory Group (the Group) meeting today with licensed virtual asset trading platforms.
The Group is chaired by Dr. Yip Chi-heng, Executive Director of the Intermediaries Division of the SFC, and includes all licensed virtual asset trading platforms, represented by their senior management.
The Group will make valuable contributions to the SFC in formulating regulatory policies, further promoting the development of a sustainable and resilient virtual asset ecosystem. By collaborating with its members, the Group will identify policy priorities and pave the way for market and regulatory developments based on investor protection.
