TechFlow news, according to The Wall Street Journal, X (formerly Twitter) has agreed to pay about $10 million to settle a lawsuit with former President Trump over the suspension of his account following the 2021 Capitol riot. Trump and other plaintiffs sued Twitter and its then-CEO Jack Dorsey in 2021 after their accounts were suspended.
The settlement makes X the second social media platform, after another company, to resolve legal action related to the suspension of Trump's account. After Elon Musk completed his acquisition of Twitter in October 2022, he reinstated Trump's account in November of that year.
