TechFlow reported on February 12 that according to official BNB Chain announcements, BNB Chain has officially launched an AI-themed open hackathon. This event has no fixed deadline, allowing developers to build on opBNB or the BSC mainnet and testnets. The initiative is a key component of BNB Chain's strategy to establish an "AI-first" blockchain ecosystem.
The hackathon offers comprehensive support worth over $60,000. Project categories include AI trading bots for decentralized exchanges, on-chain data prediction and analytics, AI-powered decentralized identity verification, and AI-driven GameFi mechanisms. Projects released in open-source format will receive additional recognition.
The competition features three award tiers:

First prize: $10,000 in cash rewards plus Kickstart support valued at $50,000, along with opportunities for MVB interviews, BIA demos, and marketing exposure;

Second prize: $7,000 in cash rewards, $50,000 in Kickstart support, and marketing exposure;
