TechFlow reported on February 10 that, according to Ledger Insights, Toyota Financial plans to issue a digital yen-denominated bond through Progmat's tokenization platform in March this year. The total size of the issuance will be 1 billion yen (approximately $6.6 million), with each bond valued at 100,000 yen (about $658). This issuance is not only one of the few digital bonds issued by Japanese corporations but is also experimentally targeted at retail investors.
