TechFlow news, according to Bloomberg, 29-year-old Bo Hines will serve as the White House's digital asset policy advisor, responsible for coordinating communication between the cryptocurrency industry and the government. Hines will work under David Sacks, the U.S. newly appointed special advisor on artificial intelligence and cryptocurrencies, and is expected to lead a team of 2–3 staff members.
Prior to this, the former Yale football player unsuccessfully ran twice for a congressional seat in North Carolina. During his campaigns, he pledged to push for deregulation in the cryptocurrency industry and proposed establishing a national Bitcoin reserve.
