TechFlow news — On February 1, according to Jinshi Data, on January 31 local time, two sources said that U.S. acting prosecutor Ed Martin dismissed approximately 30 federal prosecutors who had handled the January 6 "Capitol riot" cases in the Washington D.C. office over the past four years.
The report stated that these prosecutors received termination notices on the same day. The layoffs account for about 8% of the total number of prosecutors in the office and will impact its civil, appellate, superior court, and violent crime divisions.
