The new version has been deployed across 10 blockchains, including Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, OP Mainnet, Base, BNB Chain, Blast, World Chain, Avalanche, and Zora Network.
Uniswap v4 introduces Hooks plugins, enabling developers to build custom logic for pools, trades, fees, and LP positions. So far, over 150 Hooks have been developed. Additionally, v4 brings significant gas fee optimizations, reducing the cost of creating new pools by up to 99.99%.
In terms of security, Uniswap v4 has completed nine independent audits, hosted the largest security competition in its history, and launched a $15.5 million bug bounty program. Users can now provide liquidity via the Uniswap web app, while trading functionality will roll out gradually over the coming days.
