TechFlow reports, according to the latest audit report from NewsGuard, that DeepSeek, a Chinese AI startup, achieved an accuracy rate of only 17% in news and information delivery. It ranked tenth out of eleven when compared with Western competitors such as ChatGPT and Google Gemini.
The report states that the chatbot repeated false information 30% of the time when responding to news-related prompts, while 53% of its responses were vague or lacked substantive value, resulting in an overall failure rate of 83%.
