TechFlow news, January 27: U.S. stocks opened lower, with the Dow down 0.8%, the S&P 500 down 2.2%, and the Nasdaq down 3.6%.
Fears over chip stock valuations triggered by DeepSeek weighed heavily on semiconductor shares. Nvidia (NVDA.O) plunged 12%, Broadcom (AVGO.O) dropped 13%, TSMC (TSM.N) fell 10%, and ASML (ASML.O) declined 7%.
Among crypto-related stocks, Coinbase dropped 5.5% and MicroStrategy fell over 4%.
