TechFlow news, January 24 — Matt Hougan, Chief Investment Officer at Bitwise, posted that with David Sacks—Trump's appointee as AI and cryptocurrency "czar"—advancing sensible regulatory policies, fraud and bad actors in the crypto industry will significantly decrease over the next four years. Hougan believes that the previous enforcement-focused regulatory approach actually increased investor risks.
Previously, Sacks stated that the Digital Assets Working Group will work on establishing market structure standards, a regulatory framework for stablecoins, and evaluating a national digital assets reserve.
