TechFlow news, January 21 — According to CoinDesk, Tigran Gambaryan, a Binance executive who was kidnapped and illegally detained in Nigeria for eight months, said it would be an honor to serve his country again under the Trump administration by combating crypto-related crimes.
Gambaryan, a former federal agent and member of the federal government's early elite cryptocurrency tracking unit, has served as Binance's head of financial crime compliance over the past two years. He is now being recommended for several high-profile positions, such as head of crypto assets at the SEC or leader of the FBI's cyber division.
